Proof that modern culture is blind to these topics are their own results. We see their high divorce rates, continuous affairs, multiple scandals, sex tapes, and many broken relationships within their own society.

If the majority of those famous artist who speak about love, sex and relationships have the right concept, then they shouldn't have so many problems with them.

Sadly, many people who listen to their music and view their media actually believe what they have to say, and end up with similar results.

My wife and I were laying in bed a little while back, we had the tv on and I was changing channels. I stopped on a Cable Pay channel which happened to have on the AVN Awards.

Anybody know what they are? Well for those that don't know congratulations pat yourself on the back. Why you say? Well the AVN awards are the Adult Film Industry awards.

Thats right they give out awards for best performances in Porn movies. Not only to they give out awards they have an awards show which is actually broadcast on a cable channel.

Now if you haven't had the misfortune to tune in to this porntacular you haven't really missed much. Oh sure their are plenty of porns best and brightest in various stages of formal undress strutting around along with the male performers second tier celebs, rockers, comics and some other shady looking persons in the audience.

Now when I say they give out porn awards I mean they give out like hundreds of them, including best oral, best anal and best "actress" to name but a few.

These are all very prestigious awards at this event as you can imagine. Now the funny part of all this is when the actress steps to the microphone to accept their hard earned award they actually attempt to thank the people who made this honor possible.

Ok Ok I know you are totally confused as to what the Porn awards has to do with relationships let alone with the title of this article.

Well the MC of this particular AVN Awards Show which we happened across was this smarmy little smart aleck of a comedian named Craig Fitzsimmons.

You can imagine that this awards show certainly is a tough Gig for a stand-up but Fitzsimmons is a pro and got some laughs from this odd crowd. In particular he made a joke about being able to give himself a better handjob than any of the professionals in the audience or his wife could.

I laughed and my wife the inquiring type asked if that was true?

Did I too think that I could give myself a better handy than she could?

The Summary of the People I Like and Hate

We all have those types of people who bother the living crap out of us. Everyday, we walk down the street or drive to work, encountering these people once every few seconds. Our gut reaction is always the same, "Please get me out of here before I go crazy!!!" If it isn't the loud cell phone talkers, it's the cell phone drivers. If it isn't the slow drivers, it's the tailgaters. If it isn't the (insert people you hate here), it's the (insert people you hate here). Get my point?

We go through each day learning to tolerate these types of people. We find ways to take our minds off the pain, but sometimes it doesn't work. Let's make it a little easier. I'm going to call out the types of people I just can't stand.

The first pie chart is very easy to read. It sums up the types of people I like, and the types of people I don't like. As you can say, the people I don't like outweigh the people I like. There must be a lot of people I don't like, or maybe I'm just not very tolerant.

The second pie chart expands upon the people I don't like. There are a few different categories, but there are some that stand out the most to me.

First of all, MySpacers, otherwise know as people who spam their face all over that social networking site (which, by the way, needs a server upgrade). What gets me about MySpacers is the fact they always feel the need to befriend me. Obviously, if I knew you, I would already be friends with you, or if I wanted to be friends with you, I would've said so. Another thing that gets me about MySpacers is the fact that 99% of them are terrible at designing their pages. I don't want to scroll through 143 pages of crap just to see the bad comment I wrote about them.

Second, cell phone drivers, also known as the operator of the two ton death mobile. To the people that drive while talking on the phone: HANG UP YOUR CELL PHONE BEFORE YOU KILL ME. What will it take until these people realize they have no business being on the road using one of the most distracting pieces of equipment know to modern man? Is talking to Jimbo more important than driving a car that could possibly kill someone? Is telling him you broke a nail more important?

Lastly, loud talkers. I wish my ears had a volume knob. Nothing is worse than hearing someone yell into their cell phone. If your cell phone is so bad you have to yell into just so the other person hears you, I think it is time you get a new cell phone. I'll even donate some money so your poor ass can buy a new one. At least I won't have to be hearing your obnoxious voice broadcasted five miles.

Well, that's quite a question, isn't it? But I want to keep things simple. From what I've learned and found out to be true, a relationship is basically a DECISION! Yes, it is a decision of two people to create a bond between them, which would tie them together both physically, mentally and yes, spiritually. I do believe a man is a spiritual being with vast powers and great potential, if not always known or realized.

From this we have a basic fact:

And from that, in order to have a living breathing relationship, BOTH of you have to decide you want one in the first place. Because if only one decides and the other one just goes along, it would not be an adventure for two, but a dream of only one of you trying to make it come true.

That's because the other person, who has not yet decided if he or she really wants or needs that relationship, would have hard time deciding on other things too, like, should we move to live together, is it the time we marry, should we have children at all, is it really a great idea to go on vacation together, and so on.

The moment vanishes like a ghost as though it had never existed in the first place. But you will see it over and over again in your mind won't you? Re-played a hundred times.

If you've ever known the agony of watching a chance encounter ripe with romantic possibility slip away while you stood helplessly and watched, then you know all about the lowest moment in a man's life. Fear of having our romantic advances rejected by a woman still remains the #1 most difficult aspect of trying to hook up. And it may in fact be worse today than ever before in the past. After all, when have men ever been at such a social disadvantage to women as they are today... what with the complete collapse of any sort of culturally insistent need for them to act subservient in our presence? When have they ever been as sarcastic, demanding or casually judgmental of our fumbling actions?... or as secure in expressing them -- since they now have the full protection of the law (including government and corporate anti-harassment rules) protecting them from any serious blowback?

This makes the job of romantically approaching a woman a momentous chore for those of us who don't happen to have a monster set of brass balls helping us out. I've done a lot of study and thinking about this subject (not to mention experiencing some delightful kicks in the teeth during the course of my, ah... research), and it seems to me there are THREE critical understandings to know about concerning this fine art of meeting women:

1) You need to have some kind of standard icebreaker. And I'm not talking about some worn-out conversational opener like "been here often?". Stop and think for a moment -- most of us (unless we have some sort of severe social anxiety that requires psychiatric treatment) usually have no real problem making casual small talk with people, even perfect strangers on the subway, and really... even with hot chicks. If you knew in advance that you were only going to walk up to a girl and have a conversation about the weather, why... there would hardly be any anxiety involved in THAT, right? So then why all the fear?

Because we know that if our true desire is to "pick her up", then somehow we will have to do SOMETHING SPECIAL in order to change that mundane conversation over into a romantic one -- and THIS unknown "something" that we have no clue as to how to do is what scares the hell out of us!

I call this essential yet frightening transitional moment in a man-woman exchange "the icebreaker" -- and like I said it is our uncertainty over just how to make this verbal "crossover" without looking like a complete fool that lies at the heart of our fear of rejection. Here in Dr. Frankenstein's "seduction lab" I like to devise various little work-arounds for these types of nasty problems.

One interesting conversational device that I've actually had a surprising amount of luck with is something I call resigned speculation. This is where you ask "The Question" by framing it in a manner that makes it seem like there is, of course, little or no chance of her responding in a positive way: "Listen, I know I'm probably crazy imagining that someone as (attractive, cool, stunning, vibrant) as you would be free to (have dinner, grab some coffee, get a drink) with me some evening...?" And then (the tough part) let that question just hang in the air until she's forced to react. You're speculating, you see -- resigned to the fact that it's probably just a pipe dream that anyone as gorgeous as her would be in a position to take up your wistful offer. See? This sort of oblique approach is disarming, charming and non-threatening to most women... especially if you present it in a playful and teasing manner.

Resigned speculation is a great way to casually cross over the boundary from friendly stranger to romantic possibility without having to make that high-pressure, sweaty "verbal hit" that many of us just can't bring ourselves to do. I've actually been stunned at how many times women will immediately jump at such a seemingly "oh well..." kind of offer. Not always of course, or even most of the time truthfully, but I'll bet it's been around 30-40% of the time in my experience... and in this crazy and unpredictable game baby, dat ain't bad!

2) Whatever you decide your icebreaker is, you need to standardize that statement for yourself, write it down... AND DRIVE IT WAY DOWN DEEP INTO YOUR UNCONSCIOUS MIND! That's because when the moment arrives and you see a great looking girl and have a perfect opportunity to approach her... your nerves will start to jangle, your mind will blank out and pretty much just flatline on you. And when your skull is empty, you are powerless my friend.

You need to do whatever it takes to make this phrase as easy to remember as a song lyric that you've heard blasted a thousand times on the radio. Something that you can 'sing' on a moment's notice in any situation... a park, an elevator, a party. Otherwise you are merely carrying around a lot of book learning in your head, but you haven't cultivated any actual SKILL yet.

3) The ability to meet and seduce women is one of the most difficult things that we will ever have to learn how to do as men. Maybe if you're currently training to land the next generation of Altair spacecraft on the moon in 15 years you've got something tougher going on in your life, but for the rest of us this sad fact remains basically true. The point is that you've got to understand the magnitude of this life challenge in order to give yourself a break and set yourself free any sense of shame that could still be lingering from past failures and fouling you up. Your behaviors are always just an expression of your most persistent thoughts -- and if those thoughts constantly linger on how much you suck and how hopeless and helpless you are, then your life's reality will follow suit... and it too will come to suck.

Begin by losing any "emotionally scarred for life" type of crutch that you might currently be hobbling around on. Nobody gets to ride any sob story for life, I don't care how horrible it was. The shelf life expires someday. You must develop the determination to press on and become as good as you need to be at this aspect of your male existence. Some of you will want to become big time players for instance, while others may be looking for a wife or girlfriend. Many of you just need to get laid and then allow that event to guide you where it may. Decide at what level YOU need to play this game, and then approach the task of acquiring the necessary skills to do so in a logical and rational fashion devoid of any "clouding" emotions such as bitterness or despair. Oh thanks the Gods! Hallelujah! I came across an article in the Sydney Morning Herald last week that made me, for the first time in my life, feel adequate about my sexual prowess. The opening paragraph stated,

The best sex should last between seven and 13 minutes, and even three-minute sex is "adequate", a major survey of US experts has concluded.

I felt vindicated, like Ruben Carter freed from jail after 20 years for a murder he didn’t commit. 3 MINUTES! Since 1979 I have been telling my women that one song on a CD was long enough (unless it was Kashmir by Led Zeppelin). Two songs was bordering on tedious. Most of them left me. For what? My mates would fill my head with their glorious exploits of sexual prowess and large genitalia and the 8 hours of torrid love making that they’d just partaken in. I’d never argued my point too vigorously, in fact I’d usually nod meekly, muttering, um yeah me and my missus just finished a nine hour session ourselves, inwardly grieving my sad 70’s man sexual technique. But no longer! Redemption is mine.

The study, published in the international Journal of Sexual Medicine, is the “first to review what the experts believe is the ideal length of time to have penetrative sex, with the random sample of Americans and Canadians labelling seven to 13 minutes most "desirable".

Intercourse lasting between three and seven minutes was deemed "adequate", but anything less was "too short" and beyond 13 minutes was "too long".

My Wife Has Lost Her Desire for Sex and Intimacy: a Story for Men

They meet and start dating in high-school – or in some cases, in college. After graduation, they marry.

She goes to work in a lower-end job – something like teaching – which she enjoys to some extent – but it isn’t her “everything”.

He, enters into some kind of mid-range job – and the “potential” of a great career looms clearly before him.

And of course, he has his hobbies and the things he does with his friends…golf, motorcycles, fishing, racing, and so on.

Along the way, children come along – along with the corresponding bigger cars, house, etc.

In the morning, as he leaves for work, the man kisses his wife goodbye and when he gets home, he hugs her and tells her he deeply loves her.

Time speeds by…

Occasionally, the wife complains to her husband that she feels like her and the children are taking a back seat to his work and hobbies. And, for a time, he’ll “cut back” – just long enough for the “storm” to “blow over” and then he’s back to “life as usual”.

Besides, the man knows that he loves his wife and children and so he doesn’t feel that his wife’s concerns are justifiable.

More time speeds by…

And, what with all of his work and hobbies, it’s hard for the man to find enough time to be able to devote any significant time to his marriage relationship.

Every so often, another “storm” blows up…

The wife gets depressed.

She goes through emotional “hard times” for no apparent reason.

But, they talk and the wife tells the husband that she doesn’t feel like she’s a priority to him – although she readily admits that he is a good husband and father. Not only that, she tells him that she understands how important his career is and how important it is for him to continue “climbing the ladder of success”.

And so after talking, the storm seems to blow over and everything appears to be ok…

And since by his wife’s own admission, the man is a “good” husband and father, he just continues on with life as he knows it – work and hobbies, work and hobbies, work and hobbies.

Then five, sometimes ten, oftentimes fifteen or twenty years later, the woman “surprises” the husband with the “news” that she no longer loves him and that she wants out of the marriage.

It’s usually at that point that the husband is awakened to the fact for all of this time, he has been a priority to his wife while she has NOT been a priority to him and that she “cohabitated” in that lonely existence for as long as she possibly could – and now she doesn’t even want the marriage – let alone want the marriage to work.

The husband foolishly and mistakenly assumed that his wife would just always love him – without any maintenance or effort on his part – as he enjoyed life doing his own thing.

And now, more than anything, the husband wants the marriage to work out…and she doesn’t…

For too long, HE has put HIMSELF first…and SHE too has put him and the children first…

For too long, HE has done whatever he wanted to make himself happy…and SHE too has done whatever it took to make him happy…

For too long, the wife has put herself aside as she tries to make sure her husband got the things he wanted.

For too long, the wife has supported the man in his happiness and success. On the other hand, the man has given little to no support to his wife for her happiness and success.

Through the years, the wife would occasionally attempt to engage in something she was interested in – and she would quickly run into the “dark cloud” of the man’s displeasure for having to watch the kids or sacrifice his own interests and needs – and so, she would once again, set her needs and interests aside.

She suppressed “herself” and that lack of “expression” began to build – building like toxins and waste in an unhealthy body…

Now, she has reached the point where she is so emotionally shut down that short of a Divine miracle, the relationship is beyond repair.

The fact is, the wife is done with the man and his selfishness.

Ironically, now that the man realizes he is losing her, he wants nothing but his wife.

Now, the husband wants his wife to “communicate” her feelings.

Now, he wants her to “talk about” her needs and interests.

Now, she’s not interested.

Why should she be?

For all those years prior, HE wasn’t interested in really listening to and attending to her emotions, desires, and needs!

He was only interested in “listening” just long enough for her to shut up, get over her emotional spell (or as he really felt, her emotional weakness), and leave him alone so he could go on doing his own thing.

Why should she now believe that he cares about her feelings, desires, and needs?

Why should she now believe that he will actually make a permanent change – one where she is a priority in his life?

After all, his mode of operation for the entire marriage has been to “gloss” over her feelings, desires, and needs.

So, why should she put herself in a vulnerable position again?

Why should she go back into a position where her feelings get crushed all over again?

After all, his attitude was always one of, “This will all blow over. She’ll get over it.”

It was her unattended feelings, desires, and needs that caused all those “storms to blow up” through the years and every time, after the “clouds” cleared away, he was his same old unchanged self.

And each time this happened, the man unknowingly twisted an invisible dagger deeper and deeper into the woman’s heart that left HER feeling number than the time before.

Until finally, as it pertains to this man, her heart is “dead”. She’s “stone cold”. Her love is gone…her heart is gone…she’s gone.

There is ZERO desire in her heart to “try” anymore.

She has ZERO interest in “cohabitating” with a “kid” in a man’s body who gets all the toys and has all the fun while she sits on the sidelines lonely, unhappy, and unfulfilled.

In fact, she has ZERO tolerance for even one more hour of being alone while her supposed-to-be-husband is off “making the boss happy” or “doing his weekend thing with his buddies”.

Of course, there were “signs” all along the way…

But, in all of his “rambunctious energy”, the man blew right past them and ignored them…

At least, most of them…

One of them was kind of hard for him to ignore…

The affection, intimacy, and sex became less and less frequent.

Early on in their marriage, it was a common thing for the man to hold her or to touch her hair or to kiss her and even to initiate sex – and she always responded and reciprocated.

But, as time went on, he still did these things but she slowly stopped responding and reciprocating.

Unfortunately, as her needs continued to go unnoticed and unmet, he “barreled on down the road” – turning to the comfort and enjoyment found in his work, career, friends, and hobbies.

Sadly, when they talk now, it’s through attorneys.

10 Things to Do Before I Die

Although I am now finishing up my seventh decade of a most exciting and fulfilling life, I am planning for the future, as I do every January. I take this exciting trip of the mind, soul, and body (in spite of two malignancies and a pair of knee prostheses) in the spirit of George Bernard Shaw who said:

“When I die, I want to be all used up.”

My list looks like this, complete with some sort of rationale for each, and in parentheses my best guess for the probability of their successful completion:1) Summit Mt. Aconcagua: I reached 21,600 ft. in 1996 and 21,700 ft. in 2002. Unfortunately, as the highest peak outside of Asia, the peak is at 22,800 ft (6,962 meters). My wife, Elaine, notes that if I get an additional 100 ft. every 6 years, I will summit at the age of 135! (5%)

2) Summit Mt. Cotopaxi: I have never been to Ecuador, which is reason enough to go, but at 19,347 ft. (5,897 meters) the summit might be attainable in spite of my maturity (age) and low testosterone (effects of therapy for prostate cancer). (35%)

3) Swim with the snow monkeys in Japan: This probably illegal, dangerous, and foolish, but every time I see their photos, as a Scorpio (life being focused on water, fire, and sex…not necessarily in that order) I am lured, at least re: the water part.(35%)

4) Take the Trans-Siberian Railway trip: Since I have been to Russia, climbed Mt. Elbrus in the Caucasus Mountains, at 18,510 ft. (5642 meters) the highest mountain in Europe, and have spent a month in China, it is time to link the two. (75%)

5) Write a NY Times #1 Bestseller: I have written five books, including Optimize Your Life! which is an international best-seller (the Chinese publisher’s edition was on the Book-of-the-Month Club). For motivation, I have pasted the book title and my name over the #1 slot of a copy of the NY Times best-seller list, and I “visualize” it every day as I brush my teeth. (wow! and priceless!)

6) Keynote fee of $10,000: One of my great mentors, the late Dottie Walters, said that I was a “$10,000 keynote.” I’m working at it, Dottie! (50%)

Since childhood, my value system has been basically Judeo-Christian, although I have become quite eclectic over the years. As a Buddhist, should I “stop striving? As a Hindu should I graciously enter the fourth phase of life and “become a sannyasin, a wandering hermit, seeking only spiritual enlightenment?” Psychologist Abraham Maslow in Hierarchy of Needs described the ultimate phase of one’s life as self-actualization, that is, going beyond the basics of life and finding one’s single “calling” and heeding it. Single calling… how about ten?

In Worth Magazine in 1999, Edward Sussman wrote an article, “24 Things to Do before You Die” which focused mostly on interviews with celebrities. Grand Dame, Brooke Astor advised one to “be gracious to someone you despise.” CNN economics guru Lou Dobbs suggested that you “thank someone instrumental in your success,” while author George Plimpton advised us all to “go on a quest.”

V-day: to Bling or not to Bling

Pondering how much to spend on V-day: and for what?

Consider first where you stand with your most significant other. Are you flush with points, the all-important frequent flier miles of the relationship? If so, you may be able to take some risks. Or, are you deep in the Hole where it’s dark and lonely and you need to score some big points on V-day because of that golf weekend you have coming up? Let us assume a middle ground: that is: you have no friggin’ idea where you stand at the moment.

Well there is a simple formula for gift giving that will earn maximum relationship points without blowing your point budget which, as we all know, you already blew on a new set of clubs and/or that trip to Vegas.

Consider then, how much you spent on her last significant occasion, say, her birthday or anniversary; you want to spend less than that (if you have forgotten them, see my other article: “No wonder she considers you a jerkwad”).

Next, consider how much you spent on the last non-occasion gift you bought for her; say, when you last screwed up and felt the need for some sincere apology in the form of flowers and perhaps a trinket. You want to spend more than that.

So the easy way to remember formula is: This Valentine’s Day Gift should be less than the Previous Special Occasion Gift but more than the Previous Non occasion Gift, or

V= NO

Where V=Valentine’s Day, SO=previous special occasion gift, NO-non-occasion gift.

Ok, then. You’re preparing to spend just south of the birthday/anniversary, yet north of the last non-event gift. One more thing to remember; spend more than the last V-day gift. I know. Perhaps next year, you will record every gift expense and properly code it so this would not be such a difficult exercise. But that will be then -- this isn’t. Now, you know how much; now the what.

Bling always works -- in the form of, say, a small diamond bracelet or a necklace with her birthstone (which you will remember to record for next year as soon as you find out what it is). Engrave it with that special something you used to say to each other or some allusion to a meaningful event. It is not good to say ‘remember that night! :0)’’, as it is a tad too general. Be specific, say: ‘I still have the poison ivy scars from that night behind the shed . . . remember?’ That way, she will know that you are referring to her alone and not that other floozy you used to hang out with.

Flowers? Of course, flowers. But special flowers -- not the latest supermarket Valentine’s special -- something that says her. And only her. You know, her favorite flower (find out what it is and write it down next to her birthstone on the gift expense log you have created). In a pinch, one dozen red roses should do the trick. (ps red roses have some meaning to women -- like you are about to become engaged; or you really do love her more than your job or at least the same). Also, while you’re in the florist, see if you can scrap up some of those rose petals lying on the floor. For a romantic evening, spread them on the floor in the bedroom -- remember to turn off the game.

There you go: some bling; less than the birthday bling but more than the last non-occasion bling and certainly more than last V-day bling. And flowers, her favorite, or roses. And make sure to give your wife a nicer V-day present than your secretary -- and your girlfriend.

Men are just as romantic as women when it comes to expressing their love on St. Valentine’s Day, according to a recent North American study. But, will it mean red roses, fluffy teddies, heart shaped chocolates and romantic cards in your house, or will the day pass without fanfare?
Although February 14th invokes different feelings for many people, it appears that gender is not an issue. In a recent North American poll for a leading flower supplier 1,800 men and women were questioned about how they felt about expressing their love to their partners on this special day. The results showed that 75 per cent of men and almost 79 per cent of women were happy to express their feelings verbally, indicating that gender certainly has no boundaries when it comes to love.

But, when it comes to being able to put their emotions into writing on St. Valentine's Day, ladies are slightly ahead of their male counterparts at being able to do this easily; 80 per cent compared to 70 per cent of men.

Of the males questioned 58 per cent said they had sent and received a love letter at some point in their life. But, percentages only show part of the picture; one lady described how she had received a love letter from her husband via email every day since 2002, the year in which they married. Furthermore, he also sends flowers every week, turns her sheets on her bed and tells her daily how much he loves her.

Interestingly, age does seem to have an impact on a person’s romantic tendencies. According to this research, the number of people corresponding via love letter declines with age; 83 per cent of the 18 – 34 year old age group admit to sending love letters, compared to74 per cent of middle aged couples. That figure drops even further to 66 per cent when it comes to seniors.

It also seems that the younger generation is more in tune with their emotions and not afraid to express themselves to their partners.

So what will they be doing to celebrate St. Valentine’s Day this year? Many say they will opt for a romantic hotel break, whisking their partner off for surprise couple of days, others will opt for a meal in an extravagant restaurant complete with the trimmings. But, most say they will be simply writing a thoughtful loving message on a hand-picked card, and perhaps accompanying it with flowers, champagne and a box of chocolates.

The Indian culture is yet to come to terms when it comes to friendship between a Male and Female.The initial reaction is that of a wide eyed hawk looking for a scoop in it. Although, we have shown tremendous growth on social and economic front however our minds are yet to respond positively to this relationship. In the West, which is a yardstick for many of us, the friendship is just viewed as a greater and comfortable interaction between two persons. It does not matter much whether the concerned people are both males both females or male and female. I think we need to awaken up to this reality of life where this kind of friendship needs to be viewed with a positive frame of mind.

All our mythologicals have mostly mentioned about the friendship between males only. So, this mentality owes its inception to this period.The changing times could hardly reverse the trend. The male dominated society continued to guide the destiny of the people with this mentality. It's a fact that most of the kings had a harem of women for their pleasure but we are yet to come across one queen who had this kind of facility for her.

Anyway, we are not advocating the need of harems but highlighting the need for positive and healthy friendship between male and females. Following wrongs doesn't make us right so whatever wrongs we follow needs to be amended. Even the Indian constitution since its inception has recorded several amendments. So why cant the society change its line of thinking? It is needed.

Unlike the mythological age of kings, the men need to be more tolerant, understanding and have a broader perspective of life. If a female member of the family is friends with a male member there is no need to bring the house down. Just as men like to have friends similarly it is the requirement of females. If we don't accept this harsh reality of life, we shall be in trouble sooner or later.

Newton, the great scientist, needs to be complimented for realizing this while jotting down his laws of motion. He says "To every action there is equal and opposite reaction"and we find this being followed in daily life today. A gal today wants to know that if her male member of the family can have a female friend why cant she have a male friend? Logically, she is correct. If you want her to follow you don't do any indecent thing so that one can hold his head high while preaching others.

The root cause of this is our sick minded mentality which views the women as an object of sex only. We tend to forget the love, warmth, affection, care, glamor, decency, patience, kindness, gerosity etc she brings with her. On the other hand, men are capable of contributing by way of adventurism, enthusiasm, calmness, and ability to handle all odd situations, giving the feeling of protectiveness to women etc. Don't we feel if we sum up all these qualities we can have a complete human being who would be an asset to any society at any time?

Male female friendship goes beyond the physical attractions. I feel its an individuals perception of viewing a situation. A half glass of water is half empty for some and half full for others. In other words its the way of looking up to situations from different angles. I have known some people who during the course of their work struck decent, meaningful, satisfying mutually beneficial friendship with the members of opposite sex. They love, adore and cherish it . How can such a friendship be put to acid test and tell me one person on earth who would not like to cultivate this kind of friendship? I think the evil minds need some repairs by jolting with heavy hammers in the head. I hope they don't die during this activity.

A male getting attracted to a female and vice versa is nothing new. Its a natural phenomenon.The laws of magnetism have clearly spelled them." Like poles repel each other and unlike poles attract each other". Moreover, look how anxious one is while waiting for a friend of opposite sex over a cup of coffee and some delicious meal. I don't think the coffee or the meal contribute much to their happiness than just the feeling of togetherness. They tend to put on the best of behaviors, the best of dresses to impress each other. The tensions of this modern world are released through this outlet and discussions are mostly constructive. All things are done decently because thats the basic requirement.
