Ladies: Why You Shouldn’t Play “hard-to-get”

Many men like challenges, especially when it comes to meeting a woman. But if you’re the type of girl that likes to play “hard-to-get”, a guy will wonder if you really are interested. And if you happen to be very attractive, you may appear conceited, “snobby”, or “stuck-up”. So what should you do? Show your interest.

Here are some ways to show interest:

1. Through Body Language. In order for most guys to determine your interest, you need to show him positive body language. Instead of giving him a quick glance, or turning your body away from him (i.e., he’s sitting across from you on the train), you should try smiling or crossing your leg in his direction. This shows him that you’re approachable.

2. Through Eye Contact. There’s a difference between a quick glance, staring, and attentive eye contact. If you’re giving him attentive eye contact (a gaze that last for 3-8 seconds) and you accompany it with a smile, more guys that you’re attracted to will approach you.

3. Through Positive Conversation. If you have the opportunity to engage into a conversation with a guy after meeting him for the first time, do not talk about negative things (i.e., your bad habits, what annoys you in a guy, how your ex-boyfriend is a stalker, etc). Instead the conversation should be both balanced (you ask him questions also), and positive. Talk about your interest & hobbies, your goals, and what you like most in a guy.

So use these tips and let go of the “hard-to-get” mentality, and you’ll notice your success in meeting men will dramatically increase.
